So comfortable
Michael H.
Good looking boot with the quality you expect from Muck Boot.
Stephen B.
Quality is good.
Fit is great.
Best boot of this style I have ever bought.
Worth every penny.
Susan F.
Tight around the ankle but expect that to improve with wear. Otherwise a good comfortable pair of boots.
Tim L.
Love the ease of putting them on and off. Seem very waterproof and surviving current wet barge holiday with muddy tow paths.
The tread is also easy to clear.
Leather upper seems to breath well.

Great boot with soft leather but seriously hard wearing sole. Inner sole is like memory foam so not blisters etc from 1st wear.

These were purchased as my easy on muddy dog walking boots for around the village (dark sticky mud) and up the chalk hill (light even stickier mud) and they seem to be coping well. The bus it not sticking to the soles, a light coating of leather oil before taking them out is making cleaning them easy.
Comfortable to wear, if slightly large, but I'm 11.5 and these are 12's, so I've added some superfeet insoles which filled some of the excess volume.
Easier to get on (with the tabs) and very easy to get off (with a toe on the heel) but not loose.
Mark D.
Not as comfortable as the Apex boots, the inner sole seems much thinner and cheaper, plus the leather on the boots, looks overly grainy in places cheapening the look

I have bought & worn work boots for over 40 years and I have to say that these boots are the best I've ever worn. I have orthotics and they fit great with these boots. They are very comfortable with lots of support and seem to be warmer than my so-called -40 brand of boots.

A great Christmas present for a delighted husband.

I already have the Apex zip short boots. I wanted something less conspicuous, something I could wear to the pub but also for a muddy walk in the park. These Chelsea boots are very comfy and roomy - in stark contrast to most "stylish" Chelsea boots which are narrow and cramp your toes, these are roomy. For reference, with Clarks I wear UK 10, width G or H. If your feet are narrow, F or E, these will be too wide. If you wear G or H, you'll love the room.
However, I ended up returning these because:
1) while they were roomy and comfy, they were heavy. I put them on the scale and they weren't heavier than other similar boots, but here the impression was that weight was concentrated on the sole - very weird
2) the looks scream "work boots" too much. TBH they are not that much nicer than the Apex zip, but the Apex at least are more waterproof because they are a bit higher and because they are waterproof all around, whereas these are waterproof only up to the elasticated band. If they had been a bit more 'sculpted' and less shapeless in the front they would have made an amazing pair of boot.

These were everything I wanted in a slip on boot. Fit and finish are wonderful and they look really great too.
