I bought these from the Muck boot website as an alternative to my usual high Muck boot wellies - I've been a repeat MB for years, primarily due to comfort, value for money, general practicality and longevity.
I live in the Scottish Highlands on a hillfarm at @ 800'.
I've worn these short zip top boots daily over the last fortnight in snow and they continue the 'comfort' and 'value' side of things, but I have identified something of a flaw, as far as 'practicality' goes. On flat level ground, they're comfortable with no foot movement. On a gradient, or traversing an angled slope, with having a zip, as opposed to laces, your heel is loose in the boot & slides from side to side. With a traditional lacing system, you're able to cinch the boot tight & prevent this heel movement. I have not encountered similar heel-slide, in Muck Boot high wellies before and assume the extra boot height keeps the footbed stable?
Hopefully they're as longlasting as previous MB's. Interestingly, the sole unit whilst flexible, is strong enough to take a flexible 12 point Crampon.

Got these to wear when out in garden and walking the dog. Wanted quick and easy to get on and off. Waterproof and comfortable. Boots are all the above. Excellent. V pleased

I am in water most days, I’ve tried countless boots & waterproof trainers but non are ever truly waterproof for very long. These are very comfy and seem to be very waterproof so far! Great comfy boot

Yep, no complaints as yet but really need to see in 6/12 months if zipper and waterproof tounge are still good. Right now very satisfied. I’m often size 10.5 so never sure to go up size or down. I chose down to 10 and it fits nicely.

I am very pleased with these boots. I was skeptical about the long term function of the zipper but it is holding up well. The snugger ankle fit makes them ok for longer hikes in rough terrain compared to regular Mucks. I wear them half the year doing farm chores so they are used a lot. I would recommend them for sure.

This is my second season with these boot and my first muck boot. Super comfortable no issues with water coming on through the zipper which I thought was going to be a problem. The reason I gVe them a 4 star and not 5 is that they took a good amount of time to break in around the toes and after wearing them for several hours my big toe got black and blue. They eventually broke in but it took some time. I would certainly purchase another pair.

As with previous purchases these are well -made and very practical for everyday walking in roughy terrain. They are robust and good-looking. The main reservation is over the soles. Whilst the grip is good, it is a great shame that there is no option for a Vibram sole.

Great muck boots for mud season. Zipper was stiff at first, but working fine now. Easy off and on my size 14 feet. Good toe box room and well crafted. Would recommend to anyone!

The orange colour on the boot seemed more reddish and not like the standard high-vis colouring. The size also ran a bit too big

I really like the quality of this boot and the realistic weight and sturdiness for hunting. I would be interested too in a zipper styled full boot should Muck choose to come out with them. Especially something heavier and warmer. Get to work folks! Muck Boots is a great value and I'll be looking at them more in the future.

I really like these boots. Theyre very comfortable for all day use, they are light enough to walk around all day and not feel any more beat up than wearing hiking boots. Definitely waterproof, after a few days slogging around in swampy area, i can attest to that. Id recommend them to anyone and would but them again

I'm amazed just how comfortable these boots are. Sufficiently large for a thick pair of socks and the cushioning inside the boot itself is great. Not only that, but at last I have dry warm feet. Expensive but worth the investment.

I have a high instep and wide foot so this zip up front makes it perfect for getting in the boot and having a very nice fit. The soft pad and study sole makes walking around the farm very comfortable.

These will be my daily mucking out, dog walking and general wear boots for the next few months. So far very comfortable and water proof. Small adjustment necessary with the use of inner soles.

A perfect boot. There a generous fit which is needed when walking rough terrain. Plenty of foot support. I walk my dogs 2 hours a day. Typically i struggle with my feet.

I have owned various styles of Muck Boots over the years and these are for sure the most comfortable and appear to be best made I have ever owned. Time will tell if they hold up ..I walk dogs everyday through fields and wet grass and none last much more than a year before they crack--Muck, Bean Boggs, XtraTuf---I am hoping to have a winner here--:)

These boots have a great secure fitting design for long treks over various terrain. I got them for work (Hunting Guide) and they are perfect! They have a great lining for various weather and also have the softest insoles I've had on any boots...super supportive and comfortable!
