Our boots come in standard width D and are currently offered in full sizes. Most people who wear half sizes choose to size up for a comfortable fit, or adjust with socks in different thickness. For more information on measuring:
These are absolutely fantastic! I’m constantly on the search for comfortable, warm boots and have wasted a LOT of money on ones that looked/ sounded ideal but weren’t. But these have been such a delightful surprise!! They are: well-made; sturdy; great tread and grip, even in slippy mud and on ice; ideal colour (I’d describe them as a khaki brown); surprisingly comfortable (and I normally struggle), even after wearing them for an hour or so and on more than 10 occasions now; really, deliciously warm, know they’re supposed to be, but as they’re not fur-lined or anything similar, I just didn’t expect them to be as warm as they are, I’ve worn them in icy conditions (around 0°C) and my feet were toasty! My feet are officially a 7.5, and the size 8s are perfect with welly socks (heat holders welly socks). My calves always seem on the big side and there is still plenty of room (not in a bad way, I just mean they’re not tight). I love that the neoprene legs roll down to make short boots if I want.
I LOVE them!! And would highly recommend them to anyone!
I wish I’d know about them years ago!
Better than expected. I struggle with boots as I have wise calves. These are Perfect!! For like a glove. They also keep my feet really warm. I just love them. Not a bad word to say about them. Don’t think I’ll ever purchase another welly… these are the ONE!!
They are pretty hefty wellies, but made to be very durable and have been completely waterproof since wearing. Perfect for the wet and muddy winters to come walking the dog.
They did come up larger than I thought they would. I’m usually a UK size 5 in all my other shoes, but tend to size up with wellies. These definitely provided extra room, but fine if you wear some extra thick socks with them. I feel confident they will last a long time and worth spending that extra bit more for them.
I use these boots for walking my dogs over fields that can be very muddy. Brilliant!. Good grip even on ice pavements. My only bad finding is that the calves are very wide but I have skinny legs.
They certainly do the job
I needed a boot for wading around in marshy, muddy areas and when I Goggled 'Best rugged boot for using in the field' guess which one popped up numerous times. The Wetlands boot is for sure my one and only that I will be using. Great protection from the elements, comfortable walking in them and no mud on my pants!
Very comfortable! The first time I put them on they fit perfectly. I ordered the size I wear normally. I look forward to walking in them when the ground is wet and I want to keep my feet dry!
This is the best boot I've ever owned. I've had them for about 8 years have used them weekly. I wear them at camp, to cut the grass, in the creek, in the snow, in the summer. The rubber cracked open on one of them 4 years ago and they are still waterproof. They are worn down to the rubber inside on my heel but I just wear thicker socks and can't even tell. I've wanted to get a new pair but my originals are still going so strong I don't see a need anytime soon.
Great boots, sturdy, grippy, comfortable. The recent weather has put these boots to the test and are an amazing replacement for my Derwents which are over 14 years old!
I have had these years for 11 months. I wear them at minimum a couple of hours a day. Sometimes, I wear them an entire day, my property is very wet and sometimes floods in some areas. These boots have stood up to it all! They are great in the winter and summer. The wide to box leaves my toes with a comfortable amount of room while the mid foot is snug to keep them in place.
These may seem expensive but they are so worth it, I have just purchased my second pair even though they are not needed yet.
They are warm, comfortable and true to size
No more Hunters for me !
Absolutely love my new boots! They are just perfect to walk my dog on the muddy paths in the woods or fields and so comfortable. I also love the fact I can wear slightly wider trousers in.
This is my second pair of boots and I love them. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet as a result of chemo, so thought I’d never be able to wear wellies again, as my feet get so cold. However I bought a pair of the thermal 3/4 snow boots which have been absolutely brilliant. The boots are so comfy and supportive too.
This is my second pair. Very dependable with regard to keeping feet warm and dry - good for all seasons - even subzero temps. I ruined my first pair by putting yak tracks on them during icy conditions and the tension separated the sole just enough to cause leaks. I will not do that with my second pair. Also a word of caution if you wear these boots while using a shovel as the larger treads are just the right size for the spade to get stuck onto the sole.
I love these boots for barn work because there's not much tread on the bottom that picks up debris from the stalls and shavings. The chore boot with it's deeper crevices in the soles tend to pick up more mud and dirt.
Looks and feels like it could walk you safely through the apocalypse, which has been a reassuring thought lately.
