This is my second pair of RHS garden shoes - I wore the first pair out.
I used to keep my old pair by the back door and slip them on whenever I needed them. However, the new pair are so tight around the top, that it is not possible to slip them on. I have resorted to using a shoe horn - but that is really not convenient.

I bought these to replace my old pair that have lasted at least 10 to 15 years. Fit perfectly as I could still read the size inside my old ones. Wearing my old ones until it's wet outside as part of the sole broke off. My new ones are ready for the Fall!

I bought these for gardening, taking the dogs to potty in the morning when the grass is wet and mowing. I've owned several pairs of Muck Boots in the past when I lived on the farm. The muckster shoes are perfect for smaller plots of land.They're comfy and keep my feet dry.

Very pleased with this boot. I do not have a problem with the fit. It does fit snug around the ankle, but not uncomfortable. Keeps soil from going inside.

I bought a pair of muckster shorties a few weeks ago and absolutely love them. They are extremely comfortable. They are snug at the top, which is one of the features that makes them fit so well, but it does make them a little challenging to slip on at times. I usually wear an 8 1/2 boot, but the suggestion was to go to the nearest size down in the event of half sizes, and they were spot on - they fit me well. They are great for light mud or snow and are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Don't wait, buy a pair today - you won't regret it.

This is my third muck shoes. Absolutely LOVE them. I am 75 and I think they last a long time considering how much I wear them for picking up manure in my pasture, cleaning out the stall and even hiking with them. Was really happy to see these on sale as I needed them badly.

I wouldn't be without this shoe for digging in the garden. Unlike a boot, it is not as bulky and better for hot weather. The neoprene keeps all dirt out of the shoes. The rugged sole keeps me from slipping on rocks. Highly recommended!

I have previously bought, worn and loved the muckster winter boots and garden runners and replaced them in kind. They are comfortable, waterproof until worn out and the winter ones have been warm as toast. I haven’t worn the new one that looks like the garden runner only really pretty yet functional. They fit great and look like the garden runner’s city cousin. Keep making great boots. I would love to see the garden runner with a flatter more rugged sole like the boots. Good for older folks who are developing proprioception issues but still pursue an active, outdoor life.

I really needed these or would have exchanged them for a half size smaller. I picked up inserts and they are making them wearable. Other than that they are great gardening shoes.

This is my 3rd pair of the low rise mucksters for gardening that I have been buying for quite a few years. I agree with other people's reviews that the opening to get them on seems much smaller and are a chore to put on. In fact I had been thinking that it would be great if they could make these the same way a lot of new tennis shoes are doing with the slip on with no hands feature.

Quality is good and what I expected. Size is true. Agree with some other reviewers comments about not being easy to slip into, but easy to slip off. Have to use a finger as a shoe horn to get on smoothly. I still gave a good review and would definitely purchase again.

I really like my Muckster low garden shoe. So far they’ve seen me through gardening, wet grass,rain, work around the pond and in the dog kennel. I haven’t worn them in cold weather yet and until I do I can’t give them 5 stars. As far as the smaller opening goes, who didn’t put their shoes on without untying them as a kid. Shove your foot in, wiggle it around, maybe tap your toe and it’s on. It loosened up after a couple of wears and is pretty much a slip on now .

This is the only waterproof gardening shoe that has been comfortable to wear for extended periods. In fact. I wear them too much sometimes on the street and will need to get a new pair because the strike area on heel has scraped through. Its so nice to be in wet soil and not have wet feet.

I love my Muckster shoes. They are so comfortable and I no longer get dirt and wet round my feet whilst gardening. I can highly recommend and the delivery was very quick. I ordered a size 3 After reading the reviews as I'm a 3.1:2 shoe but usually get a size 4 in boots and was a little worried that they were too tight but however they're not. I have narrow feet and they fit just right. I'm definitely going to be purchasing the fold down boot for the winter.

I have owned 3 pairs of muck boots and my family several others over the years. We really find them useful, long lasting and comfortable. I bought this latest pair at a horse show and unfortunately didn't think carefully enough. The design is different to all our other muck boots in that the opening is far smaller. This means they are really difficult to pull on or to remove. I would not buy this design again.

Summers are meant for gardening and playing with the dog outdoors at our house. I needed a slip on for protection and weather, as well as mud, etc. I love the colour and height. However, I wish they came in half sizes. I must wear a pair of socks to keep the correct fit.

I bought these to replace a well-worn pair of older style muck shoes. These are heavier/ stiffer and come up higher on my instep and heel making it a bit more difficult to slip them on and off. I'm hoping they will soften up after some more hours of wear. On a more positive note, they have good tread and won't slip off while gardening!

Upon receipt of the shoes I immediately wore them to undertake gardening work, including mowing the lawns. The shoes were on my feet comfortably for 4 hours with no ill effects. I would definitely recommend this product.

I saw the stand while was visiting Chelsea Flower Show this year. Ordered these shoes and when it arrived about a week after, I really love it and tried when I am doing gardening. Very useful shoes for zipping out into the garden without having to put on wellington boots. Extremely comfortable. The only slight criticism is the fact that the sole grip on wet grass is not very good; but I did walk down a wet grass bank on my first wearing and slipped. I am more careful now. Otherwise delighted with them and wear them everyday.
