Love these wellies! Going from the description I ordered a size up and they are perfect! Plenty of room round my calves and keeps my tootsies warm when I’m down the horses for hours! They are definitely waterproof…. found that out when I put my foot in a water trough breaking the ice lol

Got these for my mom who lives rurally and goes through boots every year. They get torn up walking the dogs on the farm. She has very flat feet from arthritis and big calves, so has to order men's sizes. She seems to like them so far and says they're her 'good' boots that she won't be wearing out to feed the chickens!

Boots run a little small, plenty of room for wide calves, but foot sizing is off by around a 1/2-1 size too small.

I have been looking for ANY boots which I can wear with my 49 cm calves - but the wellies were top prio. I came across the Chore Muckboots and checked them out very thoroughly before placing my order. When they arrived, I immediately tried them on and they not only fit comfortably in the shoe/toe box area, but the fit around the calf even allows me to tuck a pants in if I choose - plenty of space and a bit of additional adjustment to go. To say the least I am thrilled and it is worth every penny.

The wide calf was great, but the foot part was a bit tight. I don't have wide feet, just thick calves. My feet are so tight in there that my toes fall asleep. I love the boots so much I bear with the pain. So if you have wide feet. Don't buy! Lol.

These are great boots. Very warm, dry. Easy on and off with the wide calf. Strap on the back to adjust the calf size. I've actually hiked in these in the deep snow, adding ice cleats.

I love that these boots fit my very large calves. I have never found tall rubber boots that fit in the legs. These are great winter boots when needing to be tromping around outside. I did wear them hunting a couple days and were great while walking, but did find my feet got cold when sitting. I own a pair of lacrosse boots that I find heavy and definitely bunch at my calves, but are warmer when sitting. I wish Muck offered wide calf boots in more colours and styles.

I am a 6 1/2 shoe size. I usually go for a 7 in boots. My calves are 41cm so I needed bigger than the usual 38cm boots. My ankles are slim so I didn't want to go for men's. Tbh these boots are too big around my calves. I can fit my hand down whilst on the tightest setting. I would have sent them back if return p&p was free. The first time I tried to get them off I struggled but haven't had any problems since. I went on a few short walks first to wear them in. I now find them very comfortable and easy to get on and off. The bigger calf isn't uncomfortable. Overall I am very happy. I think it's great Muck Boot cater for a larger calf but suggest they also make a boot for Inbetween sized calves. Unfortunately it's awkward to know what's going to suit when you can't try before you buy or return for free.

I hate to say that my boots have left me with the worst blister EVER. I agree that they are nice and wide to fit chunky calves but I wish the write up mentioned that the foot and ankle with is definately not wide. I have a high arch too which resulted in my dog walk feeling like had had my legs and feet in vices! This despite sizing up. Sad to say a lot of money down the drain and I’m back to my wellie research!

Don't let the supreme comfort of them kid you into thinking you don't need to wear them in / wear thick socks the first time of wearing - you do! But once that's done, they are the most comfortable pair of boots ever; super warm, lots of grip, and good ankle support. Love them!

This boot has all the calf room you could ever need in my opinion. My measurement need is 17 inches and the gusset and closure design of this boot allows for comfort and an even larger calf if needed. The gusset material is soft and smooth. Also, the height of the boot is perfect for my small legs (5' tall) as it sits just below my knee. I have marked the fit as 'true to size' as my shoe size is a 5 and I ordered a size 6 and there is enough room to wear a thick winter sock as my purpose is for cold weather/ camping. The toe box is comfy & roomy even with the winter socks. These boots are everything I could have asked for and in my opinion for me these are PERFECT! I look forward to many days of outdoor fun in these boots.

Really love these boots. They are very comfortable and the calf is very generous, but adjustable so not too large. So thrilled with these I will be getting some for my husband too. I normally choose size 8 in a boot, so I went down a size and ordered a 7 and the fit is perfect.

Finally!! A functional boot for thick calves. Solid footbed with strong toe. Room for thick socks and jeans (if need be). Quality construction through and through. Though I didn't buy these for a fashionable purposes, I kind of want the greenish tone pair as well (I bought black). Thank you Muck Boot for creating a tall, thick calf, boot that fits!!

It is a case of size 8 was to big and size 7 is so snug I removed the factory insert - the boots are still comfortable with out the insert. I wish they came in half sizes or more room in the arch, it is a struggle to remove the boots for me, I have high arches. I will keep them as I needed boots for outside.

I'm in love with these boots! They are a true wide calf fit. The neoprene at the top is soft to the touch and really allows you to have full movement when walking in them. I used them to walk my dog on a snow covered trail and my feet stayed super warm and dry. Great boots for inclement weather.

The calf is perfect! It is wide enough that it does not touch my calf! They slide on and off easily, but fit nicely so your heel doesn't slide and your foot doesn't shift around! Warm and dry! Great investment for walking the dog and going on snowy/soggy adventures!

Love these boots. My trousers fit comfortably in them and I can wear a heavy sock. They are solid to walk in yet comfortable. I did have to be patient to get the size I wanted, but well worth the wait. I will be purchasing a pair for my brother when his size is available.

Love my new high top Women's Chore Wide Calf Muck boots. The wide calf enables me to tuck my jeans inside. I've had the short insulted Muck boots which I love too, but I need the taller boots for year round wear on our farm which has a large creek and pastures on both sides of the creek. They are perfect and comfortable!! Thank you Muck boots for making a wide calf boot for those of us who need them!!

This boot is exactly what I needed. It is extremely comfortable and supportive, yet protective from all elements. I can run on uneven ground through tall grass and mud while teaching riding lessons, or do barn work without sore feet. Summer here will require a lighter weight boot, but the width allows me to tuck in jeans. A great buy! I ordered a half size larger than normal and it is perfect!

These boots are great, however, at their price point, there should be half sizes available. I sized down since I'm a true 8.5 typically, and there's slightly too small. The next size up was too large.

Finally found a pair of wellies that fit my very fat calf's. if you can ever appreciate that then you would understand the joy I feel. I can go dog walking knowing I have a decent high leg pair that are fit for purpose. Pricey but worth it if they last a good while so fingers crossed. No more wasting time finding a pair now. My challenge has been achieved.....yay

I actually swapped these boots for a slightly lighter duty pair as these were just a bit heavy on my feet. Would certainly cover the extra requirements of an outdoor worker, lots of mud etc.

Bought these because I need the wider calf. However, they come up a little small lengthwise compared with the arctic which seems more true to size. They aren't too small but would have preferred an extra half cm so I can get big socks in there.
Feel sturdy and although early days, think these are a good buy.

I scoured the internet in search of the perfect rubber boots - these ticked all the boxes. After reading several reviews I decided to order a size down but they were too small - reordered in my normal size and they fit perfect. The wide calf is plenty big but doesn't make the boot sloppy. I would highly recommend boots from this company.

The calf-size of these boots is awesome. They say they go to 20 but I would say it is even a little bit more than that. I have never had a tall outdoor boot fit my calves and these did! Not too ashamed to say that there may have been a couple of tears of happiness in my eyes when I I was able to just pull them on! I'm a Muck customer for life now!

Living on a boggy homestead, my feet are in chore boots pretty much all the time. I got tired of the cheap boots from the farm supply failing me every 2-3 months. And their lack of support left me with achey feet at the end of the day. I now live in my Chore boots from The Muckboot Company. I have small feet and big ankles, these are the only ones that adjust wide enough for my feet without me having to get a too large size. My feet no longer ache at the end of the day. They are so durable, and easy to clean up.

I wish they would realize that all people do not have the width foot. That getting a larger size is not a fix for a width problem. Just have to be careful with my socks.

I work in construction, so I've been looking for a great pair of boots when walking in sites after/during rain storms. These are sturdy, with very good traction, so I won't be slipping around. The insulation is very good; I've already walked through a stream and my feet did not get cold like my last boots. I hope these last for a long time.

I already own a pair of Mucks, but they are Arctic Sports, I needed something more for the warmer, muddy weather in Maine and everyone always raves about these Chores! The height is perfect, the adjustable wide calf makes me so happy. They are true to size and fit so comfortably. You will not be disappointed!

I had purchased a pair over the winter to save for spring because I wanted a 'clean' pair for out at the lake (my other pair is for the barn). I wore the pair twice to walk the shoreline, but oddly enough, my right foot got wet each time. I could not find the source and still haven't, but there is a flaw. I notified the company, and after sending what they asked via email, they sent me a replacement pair. So far, so good. I love the fit of my muck Boots, and have purchased their products four times previously. Thank you Muck Boot!

The only reason these aren't getting five stars is because the soles come out every single time I take off my boots. I'm all for removable soles so you can use inserts but they're not secured by any means.

I have been a bigger girl my entire life, finding boots is a huge struggle for me. To say I am impressed is an understatement!
