These are great boots for walking on safe flat paths, but the moment you venture into wet, uneven terrain they become dangerous. I moved to Cornwall and have had two falls in 2 months wearing these boots. One in a forest, where I slipped and rolled down a hill, another more serious one, where I slipped on wet steps, falling into the road into the path of a vehicle. The soles of these boots have no grip, so beware. There are other models that have better grip.

These black muck boots are my second pair. I also have brown ones. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever had. They are more comfortable than any shoe I have ever put on my feet. I put these on in the morning and never think about taking them off. I have bad feet. And these are amazing! Love love love them.

This is my third pair of Mucks. They are warm and waterproof. However they have a design fault where the rubber base meets the neoprene. It becomes rough and very uncomfortable when walking causing blisters!

My boots are a good fit very comfortable and most importantly waterproof. I walk my dog in all weathers and often in muddy fields. It is so difficult to find boots that really do keep your feet dry no matter what the weather conditions.

I always buy this model because they're light but unfortunately the sole is a bit slippery on wet surfaces. I tried the other ones but they were much too heavy with the thicker soles. I'd love to find one that's in between. I wear these all the time for walking my dogs. they usually last a couple of years before the soles start to separate from the upper but I do wear them a lot

Bought Hunter short wellies last year & the quality was terrible, all the material on the front split. So far I am very impressed with the quality of muck boots, I went for the short welly (ladies arctic) as I have a bad knee so can’t have long wellies rubbing at the top of my knee. They are really comfortable too, I use them for walking my dog & are just what I needed.

This is my second pair of these boots. The first lasted for 2 years. I wear them twice daily for a 3km dog walk for about 9 months of the year. I've replaced them as I wore through the first pair at the heel.
I've only given a 4 star review as I clicked on the pop up to sign up for the newsletter and receive the 10% discount. At the checkout I was told that I couldn't use this code as I'd already used it 2 years ago. Then, about 2 weeks after I'd bought the boots they had a flash sale on the very item that I'd bought but at around £40 cheaper than I'd paid. If your system offers the pop up then I should have been able to use the code. I've recommended these boots to so many people. I know of at least 4 people who have gone on to buy your boots, so I felt a bit miffed not to get the discount (especially as the boots had increased in price by £15 since my last purchase!). Nice boots though and I'll probably be back to buy another pair in 2 years time!

Reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 was purely because of having to pay for a return. Footwear differs in sizing, wide fit, narrow fit etc so is more likely to be returned. Bought my usual size 4

I have small adult feet (2.5or3) and these allow me room for thick winter socks. I couldn't order the adult knee high boots as they will come well over my knee so these were the next best thing! I've used them for horse or yard work and commuting to work on my Ebike when it's been lashing down with rain. They are multi-purpose, super comfy and lightweight.

Basically very happy with my new boots. Had to size up as I'm a half size, which means I have to wear two pairs of thick socks for them to fit securely and unfortunately the soles don't have a very good grip especially when a bit frosty and icy. They are though, very comfy and cosy and I like the rounded heel at the back as it makes them much less clumpy to walk in and lovely to wear on long dog walks!

Bought these a couple of months ago for gardening and mucking about with the ponies in the paddock. Have a high instep and rather flat feet so usually struggle to find comfortable wellies or yard boots that I can get on and off easily. Thought these were expensive but was desperate. They are well worth the money. Extremely comfortable, good quality and easy to manage. Have also bought ankle boots for day time wear that are easily the most comfortable and best quality I have ever had.
