Great boots, do come up slightly big but no problem with thick walking socks

Fantastic boots and totally waterproof, I’m usually a size 5 or 6 but ordered the 5 and with thick walking socks they are a great fit. Love them and will be great for dog walking on the beach and in the countryside.

I got these for dog walking on the beach as I was getting wet feet and I find welly boots unsuited to a long-ish walk. At first I had some plantar pain and thought I'd have to order insoles but this went away after a couple of days. Also, the ankle was kind of stiff at first but, again this eased off very quickly. I am very happy with this, love not having to faff around with laces and they have been tested in the sea and are completely waterproof..

Hurts the back of leg where the strap seems to rub…maybe a thick socks might help!

Comfortable to walk Felt a bit heavy to walk

I usually buy size 5 but in this instance size 4 is perfect with thick socks Definitely waterproof, comfortable and it's nice not to need to deal with laces. The shoes initially cause blisters but after wearing them few times its now better. All in all I would recommend this product Mainly I am using shoes for walks wwith my dog, mmaddy walks with long wet grasses and my feet staying dry.

I bought the boots thinking I wouldn’t have problems with rain, unfortunately I started to fill my fingers wet after just a few days. It is a very good boot for dry weather, it’s has good fitting and it’s nice to see, but it didn’t hold at all the water, even wet grass. I guess I’ll have to keep searching. For the price I pay, I guess I’m a bit disappointed.

I really like the boots but after one wear walking the dogs I suffered the worst heel blisters I’ve ever had. It has taken two weeks for them to heal and I don’t dare wear the boots again.

These boots give generous room for toes so they don’t get impacted when walking, well shaped footbed provide support for soles, would deffo recommend and buy again

I found that a size smaller than my normal size was right for me and I didn't need thick socks to wear them. These are so comfy, they felt great from day one. I've been out in rain and snow walking the dog and they're just brilliant. I love the design - something a bit different. I'm really chuffed with them!

These boots are great for walking the dogs and gardening. I bought them for a skiing holiday and wore them all the time when out and about. I have a pair of muck wellingtons so I knew what size, I’m a 7 and I bought a 6 which is perfect. Like my other muck boots they take a bit of wearing in so bear with them. These were a bit uncomfortable around the ankle for the first couple of days but now fit perfectly.

With an extra insole they fit perfectly, very warm and sturdy boots for walking the dog.

This is my second pair of Apex muck boots. The first ones lasted three years, I wear them every day, for horses/yard and dog walking. I even take them on holiday for dog walking. They are comfortable, and have a good grip on all terrains.,

This is a great boot for Both dog walking and gardening

Took a few walks to wear them in around the ankle as rubbed a bit at the top at first - but now super comfy. I am a 5.5 and ordered 6 - which is perfect for thick socks. I love that I can just slip them on to pop out with the bin & don't need to zip them up - but the zip is comfortingly snug so you feel like your wrapping up for a good walk when you do them up.

Love them, they were comfortable from day one. I did have to send the first pair back as they had a fault however the company were brilliant sorting everything out. If you are looking for boots that are simple to clean after very muddy walks look no further

I have these boots specifically for dog walking and hiking in the wetter months, and they are more comfortable and supportive than wellies for longer walks. They are totally waterproof in water and mud, and the sole is grippy and hard wearing over rocks. I would say they fit generously across the toes, I have bought the size I normally wear (5) and they tend to be on the wide side - I have wide feet and can easily wear thicker hiking socks inside them without them feeling tight. When new they did feel a bit hard at the bottom of my shin where the top of the boot is but it disappeared after a few wears. After a while the zip can also feel stiff, but this is easily rectified by using silicone spray on it. Only downside is the price, but I got mine in sales so not too painful!

Wanted these boots for while and I absolutely love them. So comfy and warm. Perfect for dog walks and cold park days.

Boots are warm and water proof. I bought them for winter horse riding, they do the job but fit wide and flop around when walking. If you have wider feet they’d work great but not so great with my more narrow foot.

Finally! I've been searching for a proper waterproof/rain boot with a zipper. Tradition pull on and off boots are hard for me to get on due to an old ankle injury. These are fabulous! So easy to slip my foot in and zipper up. Comfortable too. I don't use these as going out boots but boots around the barn or walking the dogs on a rainy day.

Runs very large, hard to break in, I am trying to make them work but they are just too big.

Seeing as winter boots you’d expect that they would accommodate thick socks! The zip was so stiff that I couldn’t even put down on one shoe and the other wouldn’t move up. Shame as liked the retro style on the website but looked cheep and tacky. Sent back due to faulty zips

Awesome boots! I gave it 1 star less due to the generous sizing. I take a Women’s size 8. My feet swim in these. I have to wear a thick track sock and a thicker socket to keep my foot stable. Will pass them on to a family member and re-order a size 7. Great tread. Waterproof. Stylish. Love them.

This is a different style to my last pair Chelsea style, going to take a lot of bedding in blisters even with thick socks uncomfortable for price

I bought this boot when I was looking for something a little taller than the other low height mucks, and wanted something easy to get on and off while I had a baby on the way. These were a great solution. I compared these with the lace Apex, and opted for these because the elastic area is over the ankle bones on these and makes them more comfortable for me. They are a little bulkier than I expected but not so much that I would down grade them. For the reviewers talking about the strap cutting into their leg, it can happen if you're trying to use these to go hiking in uphill all day, but once you break them in they are fairly flexible and comfortable. I prefer to wear them with tall socks, but I've been able to slip these on to go get the post or take the dog outside with short socks on and not even noticed. Also, they have a nice tongue design - it is very flexible and relatively soft on the inside. If you take the time to line it up on your shin and make it nice and smooth, it essentially prevents the rubbing issues and is comfy. I've even worn the boots without zipping them and still had them able to stay on my feet. The zipper is pretty heavy duty and these boots are great for wearing to and from work in the winter, quick shovelling of snow (though I use my artic tall boots for the big storms or cold days), and also for the muddy spring showers. I wear them down to the pond and back on fairly warm days and am still comfortable. Overall I recommend these boots as a great all-around slip on boot. Great for multi-purpose use and were easy to get on. If you are looking for a specific purpose boot, I would suggest some other mucks simply because these are a better mid-range all around boot. If you're subzero temps, go with an arctic. If you're in hotter settings, go with the rain boot style. But if you want a good mild winter and early spring boot, this one is an excellent choice.
