I've never used a boot jack before and never really thought they looked like they'd work; so I'm coming at this from a cynical point of view...
It's brilliant! It works a treat.
Gift for my daughter she said they were perfect! 🤩 she spends her work days in boots as a fire fighter so her free time boots needed to be 💯 and they ⭐
This is a great Boot Jack. The shape of the “U” to get your boots off suits everyone - smaller sizes to big men’s welly boots!! I bought a different brand in August and it was in the shape of a “V” to get your boots off - it was useless as it did not get the grip of the boot heel sufficiently. Really pleased with the Muckboot brand - the quality is nice wood too and it is not overly large so fits well in the netting of my boot bag.
Why did I not simply get one of these years ago? Absolutely fabulous product I love the fact that I can smell the rich oil. The wood has been treated with quality product at a bargain price.
Looks and feels like it could walk you safely through the apocalypse, which has been a reassuring thought lately.

WHAT MAKES MUCK BOOT SO GREAT?
IT'S ALL IN THE DESIGN
All Muck® Boots are 100% waterproof keeping feet warm, dry and protected in harsh weather and messy working conditions.
All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade natural rubber or leather. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to prolong their life.
While not required, a boot jack is highly recommended to protect the structural integrity of your Muck Boots. Using the 'toe-to-heel' method to kick off boots can cause the rubber at the heel to split or delaminate over time. A boot jack applies even pressure, extending the lifespan of your boots while reducing lower-back strain.
How do you use a boot jack?
To use a boot jack, stand on the flat base with one foot to keep it steady, then place the heel of your other boot into the U-shaped forked opening. Using a simple lever action, gently pull your foot out to remove the boot quickly and easily.
What is a Muck Boot Jack?
A Muck Boot Jack is a hands-free tool designed to help you remove your boots easily. By allowing you to lever your boot off using your body weight, it eliminates the need to bend down or struggle with muddy boots, making it a more hygienic and convenient solution for after-walk transitions.
Will a boot jack damage my boots?
No, a boot jack is actually designed to prevent the damage caused by manual removal. While kicking boots off puts concentrated stress on the heel seams, a boot jack uses a contoured, U-shaped grip to distribute pressure evenly across the heel counter. This ensures the natural rubber isn't stretched or pulled, helping the boot maintain its original shape and structural integrity over time.
