All Muck® Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. As a natural material, it is important your rubber boots are maintained and stored appropriately to help prolong their life.

The rubber and neoprene upper are very durable and clean up easily with tepid water to remove mud, debris and any contaminants. Allow to dry naturally at room temperature and condition regularly to keep the rubber supple. There are many examples of rubber boot care products on the market including Grangers Rubber Boot Care Spray

For leather uppers use a suitable leather care product. Once dry, any woven/fabric upper panels can be gently brushed with a soft brush to remove any remaining mud.

The Chore has more of a welly fit than a walking boot/shoe fit, so one tends to walk out of it rather - ie the heel lifts. May have been better if I had gone down a size, but that might have been a bit narrow. It is much better with two inner soles in each. Probably due to my strange feet - low arch. They are very comfortable, and were always intended for gardening, not dog-walking. Easily tough enough for digging.

I bought two pairs of boots in size 10. The tall arctic boots are a perfect fit however the Chore short boots are a lot wider and my feet were flapping around in them even in with an extra pair of socks. I suggest find a local stockist to try before you buy as returning them cost me £8.

Great gardening boots, wide around the ankle for slipping on and off which takes time getting used to as they initially feel too big, but with some big socks they fit fine. Great quality too.

Great boots, good grip, warm, sturdy (so far), used on regular dog walking & feel safe on all terrain, grass, mud, gravel and up rickety steps. The only down side is they are too big (I wonder if they are mislabelled), I have to wear 2 pairs of thick socks & even then there is room to slide. They would be absolutely perfect and 5/5 if it wasn't for that.

I would normally wear size 8.5. I bought size 8.0 in this boot and it still runs a bit large, but wearable. I had previously tried size 9.0 and it was absolutely huge. Had to return.

I have purchased 3 pair of these boots since I first tried them on a year ago. I have 1 pair for yard work, 1 pair for work(10-12hr shift on feet), and 1 pair for casual use. The Chore boots are comfortable, keeps your feet warm, are durable, and waterproof. Hopefully The Chore Classic Chelsea will be offered in green and brown in the near future.

Make no mistake, this is a very good work boot. I wanted a boot with a chunkier sole and these fit the bill. I also wanted something that slips on and off easily yet doesn't fall off when being worn (I'm frequently in and out of the house and I didn't want to have to sit down or kneel when putting on my boots). Again they fit the bill admirably. The only grumble I have is that they seem just a little large; I'm a size 8.5 and the website advised 'Half sizes order up' so I ordered size 9. Most of the time it's not a problem but if walking down a slope and I 'put the brakes on', my foot slips forward a little bit inside the boot. Makes me wonder how I would have been if ordered size 8.
