Be More Outside

This year, many of us have discovered the necessity of getting out into green spaces and enjoying the great outdoors. We have found that being active and connecting with nature isn’t just good for the body, it’s good for the soul too.

Did you know that from 4th to 19th April is Discover National Parks Fortnight?

National Parks are protected areas known for their stunning countryside and their inspirational wildlife and cultural heritage. What better way to celebrate this two-week event than by exploring ancient forests, wild coves, historic hillforts, rugged coastlines, and magnificent lochs across the UK.

There are 15 national parks across the UK; 10 in England, 3 in Wales, and 2 in Scotland. If you can’t get to a national park, the UK has 46 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty throughout England, Wales, and Northern Ireland with the best countryside for walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, sailing, climbing, stargazing – the list goes on!

National Parks provide enjoyment for all ages and interests; whether you’re after a heart-pumping adventure, or looking for a more relaxing amble with the family – just remember to pack your Muck wellies. With Muck Boots, you can reap the benefits nature has to offer come rain or shine – and even mud or snow!

If you’re looking for packability and versatility, check out our new Forager welly – it is a wellington boot unlike any other. These wellies are lightweight, easy to clean - and best of all, they can be rolled and packed into the MuckTuck bag – saving valuable car boot space.

Before you set off, remember to check the latest local information before visiting - then all that’s left is to switch off and connect with nature.
