Behind the Scenes of our Peak District Photoshoot

Here at The Original Muck Boot Company, we never use models to tell our brand story. Instead, we connect with our hard-working community to capture our footwear being put through their paces in everyday lives. This season we headed to the heartland of the English countryside to capture our brand moments in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District.

Setting the scene for the photo shoot, we saw the sunrise every morning, hiked many Peaks, and had many four-legged friends join us on the journey. Featured below, basking in the golden hour sun is Purdey, a German Shorthaired Pointer, chief farm dog at Malt House Farm, a picturesque Farmhouse stay.

Sharing our passion for local, seasonal produce, adventure cooking chef Lucy Pattinson was one of the faces from the shoot. Lucy who now resides in Scotland, grew up in Ashbourne, affectionately known as the gateway to the Peaks. Lucy is an avid foodie with a passion for fire cooking and field sports.

Long-standing brand photographer Paul Astley is behind the lens. Paul has worn Muck Boot for years and understands how to capture our brand story in a very special way, leveraging natural light and the incredible personalities of our community.

The Muck Boot Co team stayed in Hartington, a beautiful small village in the centre of the White Peak, lying on the River Dove.

Delicious coffee spot: The Village Stores Hartington (A local village store championing the best produce)

Breathtaking views on an isolated limestone hill: Thorpe Cloud

A wonderful walk: Ilam Park to Dovedale Stepping Stones trail 

Independent greengrocers in the heart of Ashbourne stocking local independent food producers and fresh milk from Alkmonton Diary: Fresh Choice Ashbourne
