The outer layer split after 6 months

I have had a pair similar before and had to return them as the fabric split. I was told they were faulty and received s full refund. I saw these Outscape shoes on offer and thought the problem with the fabric must have been rectified, so bought s pair. Very comfortable and just what I needed for summer dog walking and gardening But what do I find - the fabric has split again and my feet are wet.

I bought a black pair which I loved. Within 3 weeks they had split and were no longer waterproof. I had already ordered the olive pair as I liked them so much but returned these without unpacking when the others split. Muck did give me a full refund for the black pair but very disappointing. Hence my only 3 stars.

Purchased a size 7 as I wear 6.5 in a boot, need thick socks, but very comfy to walk in, and perfect for the autumn dog walking days, when I don’t want or need a full boot. So far waterproof, and no rubbing, easy to slip on and off.

I used it for dog walks a few times, and it cracked and leaked water inside. It is useless for the task I purchased. I emailed the support about it, and there is still no answer after 11 days...

Did not suit Bought heel grippers which didnt help so shoes returned

These have already got hikes in - a crack across the too and split along side. Do not buy them!

The shoes are hard and quite high at the back of the ankle and rub on the heel causing blisters and pain I only found this out after wearing outside for the first time on a short outing and as they have been worn I can't send them back. Very disappointed.

I first bought the boot version which was not waterproof. I then exchanged them for the shoe version. Initially they were comfortable but within a week I had blisters at the back. They are also not 100% water proof. Disappointing as I have owned other muck boots which’s have been great.

Such comfortable waterproof shoes. Have walked miles this last rainy week with dry feet and no discomfort. I didn’t wear them immediately I got them otherwise I would have ordered another pair. Too late now as they are sold out.

I love Muck boots, but unfortunately the shoes have developed cracks in the rubber after a few months of wear and my feet get soaking wet when I’m walking the dog through wet grass, which defeats the purpose! Yes I have sprayed them with Grangers.

Amazing……..please repeat next year as I will have worn these out and will need to replace…….love them

Brilliant boots I have tried so many different shoes for gardening but they all leave me with aching feet and calves. These however are brilliant offering nice support and comfort as well as a snug for at the ankle to stop socks getting wet and grubby. Really pleased with my purchase and the reduction in price is a bonus. I definitely recommend these particularly if you suffer from aching feet

I've only worn these shoes once, but it was raining heavily and my feet stayed dry all day. They were very comfortable. I have read reports that these shoes do not last very long, so it is early days yet (hence only 4 stars).

These shoes are great value in the sale. I’ve worn them for some long dog walks, they really do keep your feet dry, and are pretty comfortable, but only 4 stars as they’ve given me a blister on my heel. Even so, liked them so much I bought a second pair in a different colour.

These very light comfortable walking boots/shoes are ideal for summer dog walking when the weather is not particularly "summery"

I didn’t want to review until I’d tested these for a while. Having had a couple of different pairs of Muck Boots, I was looking for something that would work better in the warmer months and still be robust, especially on the sole ( a problem on prior pairs). Hurray, found these at Chelsea this year, a robust shovel reinforced, self clean sole, easy to slip on, waterproof and a flexible upper. What’s more, reduced price at the show! I loved them as soon as I popped them on, so comfortable, like putting on favourite slippers. A month or so later, the soles are definitely harder wearing and they are still beautifully comfortable. Sadly however, I have found the inner lining is crumbling and curling around the edges already and compressing underfoot. The top is creasing permanently where my foot bends, and where creased, the waterproof surface is cracking and water is seeping in. They have not had heavy wear, a couple of days a week at home and the allotment, with the range of movement that gardening entails. Very disappointing after being so delighted ( especially when considering the cost even when reduced!) Looks like it’s back to the old cheap rubber slip ons next time!

Whilst I am pleased with these shoes I made the mistake of wearing a pair of ankle socks with them and as the the back of the shoe comes up high I got a blister so be warned . Apart from that they are perfect for gardening and would recommend.

My daughter showed me her muck shoes and after trying them had to buy a pair as waterproof, soft and comfortable for my old feet.

Outscapes are perfect for a spot of gardening (or a short walk) when it's wet on the ground, but otherwise fine. I have tall Muckboots for the colder months. Neither are suitable for extended wear in hot weather of course!

Sadly these developed several splits after wearing a few times. Very disappointing when the lace up version have been so good. Comfortable and waterproof but let down by poor quality on this occasion.

Tested them out while walking dogs in Scottish Highlands. Perfect fit and very comfortable and easy to keep clean.

Perfect for quick trips out with my dogs. Found them a bit flat, as I'm prone to plantar faciitis I slipped in a pair of supportive insoles and now they're perfect for longer (5k) walks

Great gardening/walking boots easy to slip on. Too generous though on width and length - not a good fit for a slim foot. Perhaps can be made in two fits - slim and wide? Can be padded out with inner soles and heel grips.

I got these as my ankle is injured so I can’t wear boots or wellies. They are very comfortable although they are large for the size otherwise perfect for farm and garden.

After a hip replacement I needed to get some outdoor shoes . They could not be lace up, needed to be easy to remove as not allowed to bend more than 90 degrees for a couple of months . I already have a winter muck boot so thought they might offer something. This shoe and another shoe from muckboot were purchased. This shoe was slightly larger in size but with socks are more than comfortable. Great grip and I feel secure wearing them (with one crutch at the minute ) giving me much more confidence . They are easy to put on and remove with my long handled shoe horn and I’ve had no discomfort whatsoever. Tread feels great too. They look great quality and I shall be wearing them long after I am able to use my lace up outdoor boots .

Excellent for a quick nip outside or gardening. Not sure that I would do a long walk in them as they are a generous fit and I like ankle support but but I’ve got my muck boots for that! Very handy by the back door.

Recently purchased these, followed advice and went a size down, normally a 7 (40) hit the 6 fits perfectly. Brilliant and comfortable for walking the dogs, gardening and pottering about. Now bought some for my husband who was impressed with them! Quite a feat.

Love them would like more pairs

I have long muck boots and ankle muck boots now these shoes, I love them all. I have arthritis in my feet and cannot wear normal shoes. I can wear these all day while out and about with very little pain

Have worn them six times in 3 weeks for about half an hour each time. Very comfortable, just disappointed that the insoles are disintegrating already. I will write to you about this.

Bought this at the beginning of this past summer. So comfy and kept my feet dry.

I bought these shoes for the dewy mornings. The grass is wet and its still too warm to put on full rubber boots. This shoe is perfect for just slip on and get to working in the yard on those mornings or run errands.

We love our Outscapes! My husband has been wearing them for a few months now and finds them perfect for yard work. Mine just arrived and they seem great. We don't find them too hot. We always used old running shoes before and I always found dirt would get in, not so with the Outscape low. We would highly recommend.

Run a size larger then you normally wear

Perfect slip on shoes for dog walking and working in the garden! Super comfy and completely waterproof. As others have mentioned, the sizing runs large.

I like them for the most part! The pull-on tab on the back was a little annoying at first when it rubs your heel but I'm used to it now. The other thing was the colour is a lot darker in person than the photos. But overall they're working out great!

A great shoe and very handy to slip on to go to the barn. Keeps my feet dry and is very comfortable. Runs slightly on the large side so I would probably select a size less next time. Thinking of buying the ankle version as we head towards autumn.

Too heavy to actually work on a real farm

So far I am very happy with my Outscape shoes. They feel like tennis shoes. I mowed in them last week!

The Outscape Low was the perfect shoe for what I needed. Unfortanly sizing runs really big. I did have to send it back, and Im not sure I will re-order. I still am giving 5 stars. Delivery was super fast, the shoe its self was great, also costumer service was amazing and it was really easy to return.

I got these to wear on the boat when fishing tournaments and it starts raining and just around the house and garden. So far they are so comfy and nice. I read the reviews and took their advice to size down. I usually wear a 6 1/2 to a 7 and I ordered a size 6, they fit perfect. I have worn a few times, they are a little hot for summer but that's expected from a rain proof boot/shoe. They aren't as hot as others I've worn so I'm happy with these shoes. Now if they last, then they'll be the only shoes I'll ever buy. They are very cushioned and don't make my feet hurt. I have high arches and usually rain boots don't have enough support for my arches. Muck has a winner with these. Hoping for more colours in the future, (hint, hint.) I haven't seen any wear or tearing on my boots as of yet, hopefully they will last. Definitely recommend.

The sizing is all wrong. I'm a women's size 10 and my feet are swimming in these. Disappointed.

These mucks are incredibly comfortable! We are building a house, and I can walk around on the uneven land, etc in any weather conditions! They keep dust and mud from getting inside. I look forward to seeing all that I can use them for in the future as I love to garden, walk, and explore! Thank you Muck for an amazing new design!

I love theses. Far more comfortable than the muskster I have worn for years . I gave it four stars because the sizing is weird. The shoe is cut the same width from toe to heel. So your heel slips. But if you take the shoe smaller then your toes hit the front. I just wear tick socks with mine.

Comfortable but expected a more cushioned insole. A bit chunky fit but practical choice for all round garden footwear and water resistant which is great in the early mornings!

The low boot is SO comfortable to wear. I somewhat expected a boot that was hot and sloppy fit (referencing to my childhood rain boots) I was SO wrong. I have a wide foot, purchased one size up from my normal. Easy to take on and off and really very comfortable. I live in the south and wanted a garden shoe to get on and off easy and to protect my feet on those rainy/wet days working in the yard. No sweating, no sloppiness just pure comfort.

SO glad I impulse bought these! They are great for slipping on to run to our barn for chores. Incredibly comfortable, although little too warm for the summer. They fit a little big on me, but I'd prefer my boots one size up anyway. Overall very practical.

I'd like to give this shoe five stars, but the tongue design makes it fall short. The tongue is just too long, and ends up rubbing a blister on the front of my ankle if I wear them for an extended period. Otherwise, they are extremely comfortable.

Let me start off by saying these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. However I expected them to last longer than 3 months. So devastated.

Nice style and easy to put on just not happy with the lack of support. I can wear them for about an hour then arches ache. Think I will put in a better insert.

I love Muck Co. favourite brand of shoes to wear for everything. I was so excited to see these come out but they are awful. My feet get wet and haven't even worn them that many times already have a hole in the top of them.

These mucks are incredibly comfortable! We are building a house, and I can walk around on the uneven land, etc in any weather conditions! They keep dust and mud from getting inside. I look forward to seeing all that I can use them for in the future as I love to garden, walk, and explore! Thank you Muck for an amazing new design!

I love theses. Far more comfortable than the muskster I have worn for years . I gave it four stars because the sizing is weird. The shoe is cut the same width from toe to heel. So your heel slips. But if you take the shoe smaller then your toes hit the front. I just wear tick socks with mine.

Comfortable but expected a more cushioned insole. A bit chunky fit but practical choice for all round garden footwear and water resistant which is great in the early mornings!

The low boot is SO comfortable to wear. I somewhat expected a boot that was hot and sloppy fit (referencing to my childhood rain boots) I was SO wrong. I have a wide foot, purchased one size up from my normal. Easy to take on and off and really very comfortable. I live in the south and wanted a garden shoe to get on and off easy and to protect my feet on those rainy/wet days working in the yard. No sweating, no sloppiness just pure comfort.

SO glad I impulse bought these! They are great for slipping on to run to our barn for chores. Incredibly comfortable, although little too warm for the summer. They fit a little big on me, but I'd prefer my boots one size up anyway. Overall very practical.

I needed a boot that I could wear to the barn daily. Great fit..true to size..easy on and off but secure on my foot.. comfortable flexible sole...waterproof, too.. I hope to wear these boots for many years to come..

I'd like to give this shoe five stars, but the tongue design makes it fall short. The tongue is just too long, and ends up rubbing a blister on the front of my ankle if I wear them for an extended period. Otherwise, they are extremely comfortable.

Let me start off by saying these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. However I expected them to last longer than 3 months. So devastated.

Nice style and easy to put on just not happy with the lack of support. I can wear them for about an hour then arches ache. Think I will put in a better insert.

I bought a pair recently. I always buy size 7 Muck shoes but these feel like a size 8 after I wore them a couple of times.

I love these for gardening and doing chores without having to wear my tall mucks. These do run big! Super functional!

I love Muck Co. favourite brand of shoes to wear for everything. I was so excited to see these come out but they are awful. My feet get wet and haven't even worn them that many times already have a hole in the top of them.

Great shoe/boot for yard work especially early mornings when the dew is on the ground. Keeps feet dry.

Brilliant for the garden. Generous in size but not so big that you need to size down.

Best pair I've bought thus far! I have dry feet at the end of rainy days. I use them with thin socks. Great shoes!
